BLHN F.A.Q
What is the date, location, time of the event?
“The Circus” will be held on Friday November 4th at 6:00pm at the new Burlington Performing Arts Centre.
Dress attire?
There is no required dress code for the evening. In the past, our guests have attended the event in what they feel most comfortable in; from business casual to cocktail attire.
Why have you decided to switch venues this year?
As being Burlington’s Firefighters and Burlington’s Community Hospital; we wanted to take our show to the core of Burlington. The opening of the Performing Arts Centre provided that opportunity, and it also allows us to take the show to the next level.
What's different about the dinner & show this year?
Other than the new state of the art venue; several positive changes have come forward this year. We will be serving fun, circus-inspired gourmet foods and a tapas-style dinner. From the moment you step into the building you will be able to mingle with your friends, interact with the show and its characters throughout the evening. Everywhere you look and go you will be immersed in the experience of “The Circus”
What Fundraising Initiatives will be in place this year?
There are several fundraising initiatives that will be taking place throughout the evening. This year, we have decided to remove the Silent Auction and focus more on Live Auction. Our keychain raffle will be taking place again this year where 400 lucky ladies will be able to take home this year’s one of a kind keychain with a chance to win two amazing raffle prizes. For a tease…don’t forget to check out “The Circus Sideshow” when you arrive at the event….
Who are the beneficiaries of this years event?
This event is in support of Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Burlington Professional Firefighters Benevolent Fund.
How can I get to and from the event?
